Abstract Submission
- The meeting’s official language is English. All abstracts must be submitted online and in English.
- You must provide each author’s email address during the abstract submission.
- Accepted abstracts will only be included in the final programme if the presenter has completed and paid their registration for the EBS 2027 Symposium before April 1, 2027. All instructions will be sent to you via email.

The submission deadlines are:
- Abstract submission opens: ….. 2026
- Abstract submission deadline: ……. 2027 (23:59 CET)
- Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the symposium.
- No revisions can be made to the abstract after the submission deadline.
- The abstract notification will be released on ….. 2027
Presentation Types
For this annual meeting, there will be three types of presentations:
- Oral Communication
- Flash Presentation (Flash Presentation posters are short, high-impact presentations. Each poster must be accompanied by a brief oral presentation during the congress)
- Poster (Posters will be displayed throughout the entire scientific program of the congress. They will be discussed during the designated sessions, according to the schedule that will be communicated later)
Abstract withdrawal
If you wish to withdraw an abstract from publication/presentation, the presenting author of the abstract is requested to send a letter via e-mail (ebs2027@eventrium.ro) to the Abstract Office: before ….. 2027. After this date, EBS 2026 Symposium cannot guarantee any request for withdrawal.
Additions and deletions of abstracts may be possible with the following caveats:
- Submitted abstracts can be edited until ……., 2027, 23:59 CET. After this, additions can only be made in the presentation of the abstract.
- If abstracts must be deleted, the title and author information will remain with the notation: “THIS ABSTRACT HAS BEEN REMOVED”.

Once registered for the meeting, you will receive an email with instructions to access the platform and submit your abstract.
Required information
- First and last name, affiliation, and a valid e-mail address of both the submitting and presenting author. All correspondence will be sent by e-mail to the presenting author. The first author must be the presenting author.
- Co-authors may be listed with a maximum of two affiliations. Each affiliation should include first and last name, institution, department, country, and e-mail address.
- The abstract title should be brief and accurately reflect the content of the abstract and must not exceed 150 characters (including spaces).
- Authors may indicate their presentation preference: oral communication, flash presentation (poster) or poster.
- Topics: please select one of the x available topics. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to re-categorize abstracts if deemed necessary.
- The abstract must meet the following requirements:
Maximum of 300 words (excluding title and authors).
Title must not exceed 150 characters.

Conflict of interest
The conflict of interest policy applies to all abstract authors. Any potential conflict of interest must be declared at the time of abstract submission.
All abstracts must be clear, concise, and written in English.
